Video marketing has become an essential tool in the real estate industry. With so much competition out there, it's important to find ways to stand out from the crowd. Video marketing can be a highly effective way to do this, but for many real estate professionals, the thought of being on camera can be intimidating.
If you're one of these people, don't worry – you're not alone. When I first started doing videos to generate business, I was terrified. The idea of being on camera made me incredibly nervous, and my first few attempts were a disaster. But as with anything, the more you practice, the better you become.
Once I got comfortable on camera, I quickly realized that simply making a video wasn't enough. I needed people to watch it. This was a new challenge that required a different set of skills. I had to learn how to create engaging content that people would want to watch.
Despite all the challenges, I knew that video marketing was a highly leveraged activity that could save me time and generate leads. Every video I created was an investment in my business. Each video could be watched by dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of people. The potential return on investment was enormous.
Even if it took me an hour to shoot a 10-minute video, that 10-minute video might have 20 hours of watch time, which is a crazy multiplier of my time.
When I finally figured out the framework to create halfway decent videos, the videos were easier and more fun to make. And the process became even more streamlined. Now I’m not YouTube famous or anything like that. But I have figured out what separates real estate professionals online from those that are just looking for views.
